My birthplace was a small town in southern Illinois, located in the Great Midwest, in the late 1940s, at a time when there were no computers and kids like me played outside most of the time.  We had to use our imaginations to play games and explore the woods.  A cardboard box was our best toy.  We were a poor blue-collar family that had to think less about money and more about having fun.  I have ten brothers and sisters, so we were taught to share.  Our family was not associated with any Church, but our mother taught us good morals and to obey the law.  My mother was our direct guardian angel, but I am sure she depended greatly on her spiritual strength to raise eleven kids independently.  Teachers told me I was exceptional, which made me feel better.  My mother told me I was special because I was born with gray, long sideburns.  My brothers and I would visit Churches from time to time and learn some Bible basics.

I graduated from High School on the honor roll and was told my IQ was above average (138), but I did not receive the education that my parents wanted for me, except at the high school level. My brother and I enlisted in the US Army together after High School because the draft had taken all young men who could not afford college.  I went to South Vietnam and fought as a combat platoon sergeant for a year and nearly missed being killed several times, and that is where I thought I had a guardian angel.  I knew at that time that there was something greater than us.

My brothers and I (seven of us real family brothers) played in a band called “Crystal Image” for 45 years.  God and His angels have given us the talent to share with others, helping them enjoy life. If God gives you talents, you are supposed to use them.  During that same period, I worked as an electrician, managing small businesses, and as a lead person in an oil refinery.  I attended college for those years, finishing five years of Mass Communication schooling in Radio and Television courses.

In real-time, I have seen mysterious entities, including extraterrestrials, UFOs, and angels.  I wrote a book on the UFO sightings and my lifetime experiences.   I have visited and attended most Christian churches and was even a Catholic.  Attending these religious services and even playing rock gospel music in bands at Churches made me ask more questions that Pastors could not answer.   My bucket list included writing a spiritual book about our souls and life journeys on earth before we leave for Heaven, titled “Angels and Supernatural Entities,” where I share my stories, intended to enlighten those interested in learning about life’s mysteries.  Life does not stop here – we are eternal. My combat experience led me to write “Senseless Wars and Conflicts” from a veteran’s perspective.  I took the knowledge I learned from these experiences and wrote my fourth book, “We Were Supposed to Meet.”  This sci-fi book tells the story of a Pleiadian Princess and an Earth man falling in love, as they work together to help Earth battle the evil underground extraterrestrials and corrupt humans.

My podcast, “The Strange Reality with Dave Emmons,” is a culmination of my communications education and all my life experiences, including war, religion, angel encounters, as well as experiencers with extraterrestrial and UFO phenomena.  I have a mutual interest in and knowledge of the paranormal, with all my specialized guests, including scientists and PhDs, involved in research on these topics.  My overall goal is to let other experiencers of UFOs, Ghosts, Bigfoot, and spiritual/consciousness witnesses share their stories.  My podcasts are to enlighten people about what the absolute truth is all about.  I also cover ancient history and current events on the shows.  My shows are available on Facebook and other major platforms, including YouTube, Rumble, and Spotify.
